What is Going On in AI?
About This Event
Rogue agents, unprecedented capabilities, and calls for a slowdown from within frontier AI companies. What's going on?
This event will attempt to make sense of recent events in AI and their implications for the future. Do we need to worry about humanity's survival? How can we develop more robust systems to mitigate threats from this new technology?
Stephen Casper, computer scientist and Assistant Professor at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, and Daniel Holz, Director of the Existential Risk Lab at UChicago, will share their thoughts in a moderated discussion and Q&A. The speaker event will be followed by a reception with light snacks and beverages.
