kickoff(): hack, demo, play FC27 at Fulham’s Craven Cottage

We’re calling kickoff() at Craven Cottage.

ClickHouse is Fulham’s front-of-shirt sponsor, so we’re taking over the stadium for an afternoon of building for matchday. Then tech companies settle it in the FC 27 Showdown.

🛠️ The hack
Build something that makes matchday better with tech: fan experiences, live match stats, ticketing, commentary, streaming, real-time anything. Each of our tech partners is setting its own challenge, pairing its tech with ClickHouse, and each challenge comes with its own prize. Engineers from ClickHouse and the partners will be on hand all afternoon to mentor and build alongside you.

Come solo or bring a team. All levels are welcome, and you don’t need to know ClickHouse already.

🎮 The FC 27 Showdown
Once demos are done, 8 tech companies go head to head in a 1v1 EA Sports FC 27 knockout.

Grab some food, pick a side and get loud.

2:00pm: Arrivals and check-in
2:30pm: Welcome and challenge briefs
3:00pm: Hacking starts
6:00pm: Hacking stops, demos
7:00pm: Food and drinks
7:30pm: FC 27 Showdown
8:45pm: Final, then the hack prizes and the Showdown prize
9:00pm: Wrap

🏆 Judging
ClickHouse and partner judges will score demos on matchday relevance, use of the tech, whether it actually works (a live demo beats slides), and creativity.

📝 Good to know

• Spots are limited and registrations are approved manually.

• Your name goes on the stadium guest list, so register with the name on your photo ID and bring the ID on the day.

• Bring your laptop and charger. We’ll cover food and drinks.

• We’ll be taking photos and video on the day.
