NYC Founders & Operators Retreat: Lake Weekend

We’re taking a curated group of ~15 founders and operators out of NYC for a weekend together.

Two nights at a private lakefront house outside the city, with hot tub, fire pit, shared dinners, a few structured conversations, and plenty of unstructured time.

No conference. No panels. No pitching.

Just a small group of interesting people building ambitious things, spending a weekend together outside the city. Come to unwind, be inspired, or get feedback on whatever you're working on.

Friday afternoon → Sunday afternoon.
Optional round-trip transportation from Manhattan.

Full location details and amenities will be shared with approved guests. The group will be primarily NYC-based Pre-Seed to Series A founders in AI/B2B SaaS.

We will have structured opt-in activities, including:

• Yoga

• Hiking

• Kayaking

• Basketball

• Product review

• Build session

$50 refundable deposit to request/reserve your spot.

Final pricing: $425 early bird / $495 standard rate. Deposit will be applied toward your spot. We will share additional details with participants after approval. This includes lodging, food and drink, house supplies, and an NYC to venue transportation option.

Note: You do not need to be a Founders & Operators member or previous event attendee to participate.

Location: Our venue will be within 50 minutes from the city. If you prefer to stay just Friday or Saturday night, please indicate your preference in your registration.

Stephan Rihs is the founder of Founders & Operators and RegLayer. He also supports early-stage companies in strategy, go-to-market, partnerships and fundraising. His background includes Coinbase, BCG, and roles in Austria’s Treasury and Chancellor’s Office.

This is a not-for-profit community event. Current pricing reflects organizer's cost for accommodation, transportation, food and drink for the weekend.
