The Best-Performing Ads Were Built for the Wrong Customer | Pearmill during Ad Week
About This Event
A private dinner for ten marketing leaders during Advertising Week.
As one of our B2B clients grew, we noticed the top-performing ads weren't bringing in the most engaged customers. So we built an AI audit of their 16 best ads: one AI described who each ad was really built for, a second scored those descriptions against the new ICP, and a third joined the rankings to performance data.
73% of trial starts came from ads aimed at the audience the company had ruled out. Fit and cost per trial turned out to have no relationship at all.
Over dinner we'll get into what that means for the rest of us: who your ads are actually speaking to, why the acquisition numbers don't surface it, and what you'd do differently if you knew.
Hosted by Nima Gardideh of Pearmill.
Tuesday, October 6, 7pm. Hudson Clearwater, 447 Hudson St.
