About the speaker

Winnie Lau is a Partner at Strobe Ventures. She began her career as a strategy consultant and, prior to co-founding Strobe, was a Principal at BlockTower Capital, a crypto-native asset management firm. At Strobe, she covers everything across DeFi, stablecoin infrastructure, onchain applications, and AI. Growing up in Hong Kong and Guangzhou during the early days of the internet, Winnie saw firsthand the ability of technology and innovation to transform not only the socioeconomic landscape in China but also the consumer behaviors and culture of society. As such, she spent most of her early career exploring new consumer technologies and primitives.
