An exhibition on the measurement of human performance - #SFTechWeek
About This Event
Every aspect of human health eventually gets instrumented. Athletes measure everything to optimize performance, incl. calories, workouts and sleep. It stands to reason that in order to be at ideal cognitive capacity, knowledge workers could do the same. Mens Sana is a one-evening exhibition in five parts, tracing how we learned to measure human beings, and the one place we stopped (digital work). Learn about what wearables measure, how ergonomics got started and why the Greeks talked about mind-body harmony over 3,000 years ago.
Drinks and snacks provided, doors open at 5pm Presented by Archetype (www.archetype.work). Space is limited.
