Building Embodied AI: A Fireside Chat with the Founder Behind a Robotics Unicorn

What will it take to bring AI out of the digital world and into the physical one?

Join us at AGI House San Francisco for an intimate fireside chat with Hao Wang, Co-Founder and CTO of X Square Robot, one of China’s leading embodied AI companies.

🚀 Opening Event for the Physical AI Hackathon. For hackathon, register here: https://luma.com/21palhfw

Kick off the Physical AI Hackathon with an evening of insights, conversation, and connection ahead of the hackathon on November 14–15. This opening event brings together founders, operators, investors, and builders shaping the future of Physical AI.

🧠 From Models to Real-World Robots

Hao will share his perspective on building general-purpose embodied AI, bridging the gap between simulation and reality, and developing robots that can reliably interact with the physical world.

From the open-source WALL-OSS foundation models to hosting a global embodied AI developer competition featuring 100+ robotic arms, X Square Robot is pushing the boundaries of how robots learn, adapt, and perform real-world tasks.

🚀 What We'll Explore

• The breakthroughs and bottlenecks shaping Physical AI

• The role of foundation models, real-world data, and hardware

• Why success in simulation does not guarantee success in reality

• What it takes to build, train, and deploy general-purpose robots at scale
