Open Source AI Awards Night (Open Source AI Week)

Join us for the Open Source AI Awards, the celebration at the heart of Open Source AI Week. We’re bringing the community together to recognize the people and projects moving open source AI forward—and give the often-unsung work of building, maintaining, and supporting this ecosystem its moment in the spotlight.

We’ll kick off with keynotes from open source AI leaders, followed by community talks and the awards ceremony. Then stick around for a social, where you can meet fellow builders, connect with the people behind the projects, and see open source AI projects and models in action.

This year, we’ll honor contributions across the following categories:

Project Awards

• The Bedrock Award — Best AI Infrastructure

• The Reward Signal Award — Best Reinforcement Learning Project

• The Guardrails Award — Best Security & Alignment Project

• The Reality Check Award — Best Benchmark or Evaluation Project

• The Mission Control Award — Best Agentic Harness

• The Glass Box Award — Best Observability Tool

Individual Awards

• The Community Lifeline Award — Outstanding Community Support

• The Unsung Maintainer Award — Outstanding Project Stewardship

• The Open Knowledge Award — Outstanding Educator

• The Naming Things Is Hard Award — Most Spectacularly Questionable Project Name

Whether you’re nominated, or coming to cheer everyone on, expect good company, a few surprises, and plenty of well-deserved recognition. Come celebrate the work—and the people making it happen.
