Puzzle Design Jam
About This Event
Join Ricki Heicklen, Ben Karcher, and Michael Sheely for a workshop on building word puzzles, math puzzles, and physical puzzles of various flavors. We'll talk about some puzzle-setting techniques and then dig into a small mountain of supplies generously provided by The Game Crafter to build some puzzles ourselves.
Some of us will be building toward the Metagame 2026 megagame, a giant immersive puzzle hunt / convention taking place in Berkeley this November. All are invited to contribute any resulting puzzles toward the hunt if desired.
