San Francisco ACX Meetup “First Saturday”

I said before I'd only cover two reviews at a time, and only reviews under 10 kilowords.  But I am bending my own rules: I liked all three of these, and they cover very different territory. * The Escape Artist: are we doomed by our own terrible epistemology? (6,753 words) * The Epic of Gilgamesh: more philosophical: a reflection on history, literature, and transcendence (10,492 words)  <-- my favorite...but I'm more humanities-oriented * Breakdown in Pakistan: a practical analysis of the impact of Western NGOs and its implications for EA (7,186 words) We'll be hosting the event at Mox, a co-working space in SoMa.  You can let me know you are coming by either RSVPing on LW or sending an email to 34251super@gmail.com.
