Tech Makers Goes West - Robotics and Beyond Pitch Night and Drinks
About This Event
Tech Makers is landing in San Francisco, bringing our signature monthly of pitches, live demos, drinks, and little bit of mischief to Pebblebed VC, August 28.
On stage: robotics, drones and emerging technology from Europe, the Bay and beyond.
Featuring Subspacial, Atech.dev and a few more startups still under wraps.
Meet the founders. See what they’re building. Ask difficult questions. Find your next collaborator, investment or slightly reckless idea.
And if you’re lucky, we might reveal a few details about La Machine, our new hackathon heading your way this fall.
Want the mic? Apply to pitch here.
WTF is Tech Makers?
Tech Makers is an Amsterdam and Paris-born community of 5,000 founders, engineers and builders who prefer making things to talking about making things.
We run pitch nights, hackathons, and hands-on gatherings across Europe and, now, apparently, California.
Follow Tech Makers for interesting people, ambitious technology and occasional mischief around the world.
The biggest thank-you to Pebblebed VC for hosting us as well.
Pebblebed is a technical early-stage VC founded by Pamela Vagata, Keith Adams and Tammie Siew. Pam created FBLearner Flow, was a founding member of OpenAI and led AI at Stripe. Keith founded Facebook AI Research and served as Chief Architect at Slack. Tammie began her venture career at Sequoia before becoming a founder herself.
