Format & Rules

We’ll be playing a four-player team scramble.

- All players tee off on each hole.

- The team selects its preferred shot, and everyone plays their next shot from that location.

- Repeat this process until a ball is holed or the team reaches the bogey cap.

- Each team must use at least four tee shots from each player during the round. Keep track of whose tee shot is selected on your scorecard.

- The maximum team score on any hole is bogey, one stroke over par. If the team cannot finish for better than bogey, pick up and record bogey.

- Record one team score per hole. The team with the lowest total net score over 18 holes wins.

Ball-placement procedures and any additional local rules will be covered in the pre-round briefing.

Team Handicaps

Team handicaps use a weighted allowance rather than a straight average. For four-player teams, the allowance is:

- 25% of the lowest Course Handicap.

- 20% of the second-lowest Course Handicap.

- 15% of the third-lowest Course Handicap.

- 10% of the highest Course Handicap.

These amounts are added together and rounded to the nearest whole number to give the team’s Playing Handicap. This is deducted from the team’s total gross score to determine its net score.

Please provide your current Handicap Index when registering. If you do not have an official handicap, let the organisers know in advance.

Pace of Play

Please stay conscious of the time and the players behind you. Be ready when it’s your turn, keep up with the group ahead and move promptly between shots. The bogey cap applies throughout the round to help everyone finish on schedule.

Dress Code

Please wear standard golf attire: a collared golf shirt or golf-specific top, tailored trousers, shorts or a golf skirt, and appropriate golf shoes, preferably soft-spiked or spikeless. Avoid denim, beachwear, flip-flops and casual gym clothing. The club’s dress requirements apply.

Photography & Filming

Photography and filming will take place throughout the event, including livestream coverage. Guests may appear in event photographs, video recordings, livestreams and subsequent promotional content. If you have any concerns about being filmed or photographed, please contact the organisers before the event and let the team know at check-in.
