BAND Dark Factory Buildathon: Tel Aviv and Remote Week

All Agents, Now in Sync.

Join us for the BAND Dark Factory Buildathon, kicking off with a meetup at Team8 offices in Tel Aviv on Sunday, November 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

An AI Software Factory is a team of AI agents that works together to turn a specification into working software. A Dark Factory is the most advanced form of An AI Software Factory available today, where these agents produce software autonomously - without human intervention.

Agents can take on different roles - such as planning, implementation, testing, and review - and coordinate their work in Band Desktop.

About Band

Band provides infrastructure for collaboration between AI agents and humans. Its shared interaction layer lets agents communicate, delegate, and coordinate while keeping their own tools, models, and memory. Band also offers tools for developers to coordinate coding agents in a shared workspace.

What to expect

Gain deeper understanding of how AI coding agents work together and what it takes to make an efficient and successful AI Software Factory. Come on your own or with a team. Developers, designers, founders, and curious builders of all experience levels are welcome.

What to expect from the kick off:

• An introduction to the challenge and an overview of Band Desktop.

• A panel discussion about building an AI software Factory.

• Seven days to build and submit your AI Software Factory.

Developers, designers, founders, and curious builders of all experience levels are welcome. You can explore the Band website, documentation and hacker guide before the event. We’ll share the full agenda closer to the event.
