The Apidays Toronto 2026 tech conference will take place from September 9–10, 2026. Under the central theme of making APIs "Agent-Ready" and exploring the new machine-to-machine economy, the event acts as an umbrella for two sister events: GenerationAI Toronto (focused on generative AI) and Green IO Toronto (focusing on sustainable, climate-conscious digital transformation).

Event Overview & Scale

The conference is an in-person event expected to draw a large global and regional crowd: [

• Speakers & Sessions: More than 100 speakers delivering over 100 technical learning tracks and case studies.

Core Agenda & Learning Tracks

The 2026 agenda shifts from traditional API integration toward preparing digital infrastructure for autonomous AI agents. Main topics include:

• AI-Ready APIs: Designing machine-readable specifications, building agentic workflows, and managing the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

• API Security & Resiliency: Securing digital supply chains against OAuth token theft, handling long-lived integration credentials, and multi-mechanism authentication.

• Business & Infrastructure: API monetization strategies, lifecycle governance, and API management challenges.
