AI Citizens Week 3: Tools, Custom Skills & MCP
About This Event
This is the week AI stops just answering and starts doing things for you. We'll look at how agents reach out to the tools you already use, like Notion, Slack, and Google Drive, and what MCP actually is (the plug that lets an AI safely connect to those apps). Then Skills: how to package the instructions you keep retyping into something reusable your whole team can pick up.
You'll leave knowing what to hand off to an agent, what to keep a human on, and the questions to ask before you connect an AI to anything at work.
No coding background needed. This is about literacy and judgment, not development mechanics.
Part of the AI Architect Fellowship, a free program from 3percentclub for underrepresented builders in NYC.
