Agentic commerce is moving beyond AI assisting human decision-making toward AI acting on behalf of individuals and enterprises to execute real-world transactions.

From procurement and cross-border payments to API services, compute resources, and Agent-to-Agent / machine-to-machine (M2M) transactions, a set of fundamental questions is becoming increasingly urgent: Who authorises an agent to act? How does it make payments? How should permissions and risks be controlled? And what infrastructure is required to move from individual transactions to adoption at scale?

How the industry addresses these questions will determine whether the agentic economy can progress from experimentation to real-world deployment at scale.

During TOKEN2049 Singapore, MetaComp will host this invitation-only industry session, bringing together practitioners and industry leaders across payments, banking, wallets, stablecoins, AI agent platforms and corporate treasury.

The discussion will focus on four critical areas: real-world implementation, payment and settlement, identity and authorisation, and risk and compliance.

Through practical use cases and open discussion, participants will share what is already working, where the key constraints remain, and where the industry can collaborate next — including opportunities around KYA, M2M transaction pilots and enterprise treasury applications.
